POSITION SUMMARY
Assist the Youth Pastor and Youth Program Director in executing high-quality programming and events for middle and high school students.
Provide administrative support to the Youth Pastor and Youth Program Director.
Be flexible and exhibit a positive attitude while operating in an administrative capacity.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Administrative and Organizational Skills: Complete varied tasks efficiently and effectively, create and maintain paper and electronic files, maintain proper financial documentation, keep track of deadlines, update calendars, and schedule meetings.
Office Technology: Work with computer-based tools: Google Suite, Canva, MS Word, Excel, and email. Learn our church database system.
Teamwork: Collaborate with co-workers. Express a willingness to meet team needs.
Communication Skills: Communicate information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing. Maintain professionalism.
High Integrity: Respect the privacy of volunteers and students when working with confidential information.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend all Youth Programming and Youth Events.
Manage the Youth Ministry's internal database; add, update, manage, monitor, and track data concerning student profiles, youth attendance, parents, and events as requested by the Youth Pastor and Youth Program Director.
Help maintain and organize program/event supplies and spaces.
Communicate with volunteers, parents, students, and staff regarding Youth Ministry programming.
Support the Youth Pastor and Youth Program Director with onboarding new Youth Ministry volunteers.
Handle, screen, and, where appropriate, respond to incoming telephone calls, emails, and mail for the Youth Ministry.
Support Youth events in collecting fees, submitting collected ministry funds, making payments, and performing other administrative tasks.
Support the Youth Pastor and Youth Program Director in preparing for Youth Programming, Youth Events, and Special Projects as needed.
Assist with setup and cleanup for weekly programming and events. Repeatedly lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Attend bi-weekly meetings with the Youth Program Director.
Attend Staff Meetings and Events.
